Position Description:
The Supply Chain Project Manager position is responsible for supporting the DPG's organization thru Supply Chain initiatives which include both Supplier related and operational projects. The goal of this role is to improve the decision making across DPG's Supply Chain organization by using diagnostic analytics, to help explain the supply chain performance and find opportunities for improvement. The Supply Chain Project Manager will develop/manage a dashboard of key Supply Chain metrics to support decision making and execution of key projects. This position is a leadership role that will drive improvement programs and the implementation of best practices across the DPG organization.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Integrate and partner with business segement to support business initiatives thru active participation to provide supplier options (supplier proposal/services/products) for value added solutions
Leads and supports commodity based projects( supplier identification, negotations, supports cost savings, and participates in Coroporate wide negotations) for both direct and indirect by SBU or across DPG division
Control the project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.
Active participation in operational project relating to Supply Chain activities( supplier development, supplier quality, and inventory) across the DPG division to support business improvements thru colloboration(internal & external)
Lead meetings with stakeholders to move forward key tasks and escalate significant process bottlenecks, anticipated delays and critical path analysis
Evaluate organizational readiness to implement new projects or programs in advance of transition events
Perform monthly & quarterly reviews and analyses of supplier/commodity spend, VMI, inventory summaries, E&O information to provide SBU dashboard metrics and reports.
Using advanced analytics identifies cost optimization opportunities
Maintains a portfolio of cost reduction improvement projects, helps drive prioritization and ensures project teams are formed to drive scope, schedule and resources
Provide dashboards to monitor project status
Required Skills and
Experience:
Strong strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
Ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and then plan and execute solutions that are of recognizable value to the business
Excellent communications and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels
Good command of Microsoft office suite of tools, strong in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree highly desired
Must be able to take direction from several sources and prioritize accordingly and work under tight deadlines.
Maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality in the handling of all information.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
