Basic Purpose of Position:
This Information Security Advisor position is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting security services required to sustain and mature the Anthem Information Security Program. This position will work across IT department boundaries and fulfill a technology support role for management of enterprise encryption and improving security of Anthem applications.
Roles that may be assigned to this position include:
Support and continuously improve enterprise encryption technologies and services including public key infrastructure (PKI), SSL certificate lifecycle management, and on-premise or Cloud data encryption.
Partners with IT and security architects, working groups, project teams and application owners to define requirements for and support enterprise encryption services which meet business and regulatory objectives.
Supports initiatives with assigned teams and participates on critical Information Technology planning initiatives to ensure adequate security protection measures are incorporated into those IT strategic plans.
Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
Provides security incident crisis support, 24x7 on call support, night/weekend support as required.
Develops metrics and reports supporting strategy and direction for management.
Acts as a subject matter expert among peers, with manager and senior management.
Support of Application Security Program.
Support of Enterprise secure access and SSO.
Support of Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program.
Develops, recommends, and implements enterprise information security policies, technical standards, guidelines, procedures, and other elements of an infrastructure necessary to support information security in compliance with established company policies, regulatory requirements, and generally accepted information security controls.
Other key duties may include, but are not limited to:
o leads system and network architecture support for information and network security technologies;
o leads development and execution of risk assessment methodologies to fit business, regulatory, and technical environment considerations;
o leads the development of requirements, system architecture, and software design of security products and services;
o leads the development of strategies for discovery, evaluation and response to new networking attacks;
o develops security incident response plans and strategies.
Skills and Education Required in This Position:
BS/BA in related field;
3-8 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems, Ebusiness, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management;
significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required;
or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Demonstrated customer focus
evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer;
builds strong customer relationships and creates proces/ses with customer viewpoint.
Communicates clearly in the areas of requirements gathering, problem resolution and technology support.
Demonstrated experience with security tools such as
Nmap,
Nessus,
Qualys,
Guardium,
Burp Suite,
AppScan,
WebInspect,
Fortify,
Veracode,
Venafi,
Microsoft Certificate Services
IAM technologies such as SiteMinder, Tivoli, Ping, Identity and Oracle.
The successful candidate will also have
Strong working knowledge of web applications and services;
strong technical writing skills;
programming or scripting skills preferred (e.g. Java, .NET, shell scripting, perl, python, C, etc.).
Experience with provisioning and the distribution of SSL certificates to both users and IT technology.
Understanding of cryptography and key management.
Experience with vulnerability management life cycle including discovery, detection, reporting and remediation of technology flaws.
Experience performing network and application penetration testing.
Licenses/Certifications
One or more related certifications desired (e.g. CISSP, CISA, SANS GIAC, ITIL, etc.)
This position will be hired into the Info Security Advisor job family and the level will be determined based on the experience of the candidate selected.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
