Position Profile The successful applicant must hold a license issued by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) of the grade General Radiotelephone Operator or a license issued by the National Association of Business and Educational Radio (NABER) of the grade Certified Technician and maintain this licensed status. Experience with microwave radio and TI digital interface preferred. An Associates Degree in Electronics (or equivalent training and work experience) is required. The candidate must have experience in radio repair, radio controllers, antenna systems, modem operation, multiplex systems, and telephone systems. Also must possess a current and valid driver's license. This position requires the employee to work overtime, nights, weekends or holiday work hours as well as work away from home for extended periods of time. Off days may not include weekends and may not be consecutive as well. The Communication Technician position is responsible for installing, maintaining, replacing and repairing electrical, electronic and mechanical communication equipment, including power sources, circuits, switching equipment, wheel defect detectors, AEI scanners, WAN/LAN and transmission facilities; and for troubleshooting communication equipment to analyze and isolate malfunctions. This position requires a person with extensive radio shop background that includes the ability to install mobile VHF, cell and ancillary equipment on various types of vehicles. This responsibility includes strict adherence to all licensing and other Rules and Regulations of the Federal Communication Commission and other regulatory bodies; responsible for other work as assigned; responsible for strict adherence to all Safety Rules. This position requires the candidate work out of a designated headquarter location and reside within reasonable proximity of same subject to assisting on other territories as required. Must be qualified and able to operate highway vehicles. A Communication Technician is subject to overtime, night, weekend or holiday work hours as well as extended time away from home when company needs dictate.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
