Summary:
Hiring for multiple locations:
Must have experience Maintains property appearance, equipment, pool chemicals, exterior grounds, furniture and fixtures throughout hotel.
Repairs all damaged or inoperable items.
Ensures guest safety and security at all times.
Through preventative maintenance, preserves the condition of the hotel to a like new condition.
May assist in banquet set-up, van runs and luggage.
Purpose of Position:
To keep all guestrooms, public areas, pool areas and exterior grounds of the property in clean, safe, secure and well-maintained condition.
Maintain the highest level of safety and security for our guests.
Essential Functions/Tasks:
Assist guests with any special needs and always make guest the 1st priority.
Greet every guest that you meet.
Remove all debris from parking lots and exterior of building daily.
Sweep under canopy at main entrance and hotel entrance ways on a daily basis.
Report any and all injury.
Follow all company policies and procedures for safety and security.
Clean and change air conditioning filters on a weekly basis.
Check and replace interior/exterior lighting and emergency lights.
Maintain all vacuum cleaners on a weekly basis.
Clean and de-lime ice machines every month.
Complete daily maintenance requests in guestrooms, public space and throughout entire hotel.
Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals on the job.
Remove snow and ice from entrances and parking lot area during appropriate seasons.
Maintain awareness of all repair items requiring the attention of an outside service person and record on proper Franchise form.
Quarterly flip mattresses in all guestrooms.
Maintain pool area.
Keep pool floor clean and pool and whirlpool vacuumed.
Also keeping pool equipment room clean and neat.
Meeting all pool standards of quality and safety guidelines.
Test and record to local city and state codes.
Maintain shop and storage areas in clean and neat condition.
Required to fill out daily Log Book or use form provided.
Maintain lawn maintenance and landscaping.
Perform preventative maintenance schedules for filters, belts, lubrication of equipment, small engines; such as snow blowers, garden tractors or lawn equipment, and company vehicles.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance required in Guestroom Maintenance and public areas by Franchise program or use form provided.
Attend all department meetings.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Neat & well-groomed appearance and in proper uniform.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, reach, stoop, stand and walk continuously, climb stairs and ladders, push or pull heavy equipment.
Pleasant personality and people skills.
Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends.
Maintain a high level of quality, service and cleanliness.
Eye for detail.
Good communication skills.
Work within a team concept.
Mechanical knowledge.
Delivery of guest-requested amenities.
Driving van shuttle when needed.
Setting up meeting rooms and equipment.
Assisting in other departments throughout the hotel.
Accountability:
Maintain a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Follows all state and federal guidelines, including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training.
Acts on repair requests immediately and returns completed work orders to the General Manager on a timely basis.
Acts on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance assignments as outlined in the Guest Room and Property Maintenance Program.
Report maintenance repair that needs contracted professional services immediately to the Supervisor or General Manager.
Must be self-motivated with limited supervision.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
