Because of this great responsibility, all assigned tasks must be completed with great care and accuracy.
Medical Assistants are the liaison between the provider and the patient and must maintain a professional, calm demeanor at all times.
This role will also have opportunities to cross-train in other services such as CNA and other departments.
Requirements Education/Experience Requirements include High School Diploma or GED.
1 year of experience in functional or integrative medical practice is preferable.
The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
Preference will go to candidates willing to adapt to a fast paced environment with a steep learning curve.

CNA and Phlebotomist preferred Duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience.
Responsible for gathering a thorough medical history, including vitals and BMI prior to each visit, of the patient and entering or updating patient medical record information.
Responsible for performing blood draws and packaging specimens.
Responsible for scheduling lab testing, ordering required lab work for patients, contacting the patient regarding lab reviews, and updating the patient medical record information.
Required to train and obtain identified certifications for medical practice equipment and devices.
Responsible for the management of medical faxes.
Responsible for keeping exam rooms properly stocked with supplies.
