Coordinate wellness programs and activities to improve experiences for county employees.
Examples of Duties The following duties are normal for this position.

Compose and maintain confidential correspondence including letters, memos, reports, news releases, proclamations and other documents in a timely manner.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of job functions.
Manage and provide guidance to in-person, telephone, and email inquiries from the general public, county employees, media sources, county board supervisors, and state and county elected officials.
Schedule meetings, events, and maintain calendars for County Executive and Director of Administration.
Opens, sorts, and distributes departmental mail.
Coordinates office filing system for the County Executive's office.
Monitors and maintains committee appointment lists and confers with the County Executive regarding status of re-appointments, new appointments, and vacancies.
Initiates appropriate letters of appointment notifications, confirmation of appointments, committee head letters, thank you letters, etc.
Schedule conference and convention travel, lodging and related arrangements for the County Executive and Director of Administration.
Maintains committee meeting books and files containing various county agreements, contracts, MOU's, etc.
Schedule and coordinate requests from groups to tour the City/County Government Center.
Coordinates annual United Way campaign.
Coordinate Student Government Day with the Fond du Lac American Legion and Auxiliary.
Process purchase orders and invoices and orders office supplies.
Works with Information Systems Department to update in-house employee directory on a semi-annual basis.
Coordinate County Wellness programs.
Schedule and lead Wellness Team meetings; prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on identified action items.
Schedule and coordinate quarterly blood drives with Community Blood Center.
Coordinate and oversee onsite health screenings/health risk assessments.
Promote and oversee Go365 program by ensuring database is current and assist employees when problems arise.
Performs other tasks, duties or assignments as requested.
Typical Qualifications Desirable Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, modern office equipment, business English and the personnel/human resource function.
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to compose correspondence.
Training and
Experience:
Three to five years personal or confidential secretarial experience.
Post high school coursework in a secretarial science program is desirable.
In evaluating candidates for this position, the County may consider a combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
