The Director of Credit leads a diverse team responsible for collections, customer credit management and cash application across the North American and Latin American markets and provides oversight to our credit teams in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Responsibilities:
Directs and leads the credit function in the establishment of goals and execution of their delivery against key performance indicators including A/R aging, Day's Sales Outstanding and minimizing bad debt write-offs. Provide key inputs to the receivables forecast each month and lead the treasury cash flow forecast for the division Initiate and oversee process improvement initiatives in the invoice to cash process. Drive the business use of technology and leverage strategies and process improvements to make credit and collection processes more efficient and effective Build and maintain excellent working relationships with regional, global and corporate cross-functional partners. Network to contribute and drive strong execution around key initiatives. Maintain strong relationships with third-party finance providers including oversight to creation and amendments of any pertinent agreements. Ensure timely preparation of credit reviews, adherence to governance requirements and the delegation of authority Develop a high performing team culture within the department that recognizes and rewards excellence and ensures career progression opportunities are understood Communicate the business objectives, plans, budget, and performance to employees to maximize the individual / collective contributions and commitment to continuously improve the performance of the business. Direct annual business planning, expense, and budgeting processes. Monitor progress monthly and revise accordingly to support requirements and guidelines. Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. 10 or more years prior management experience. Preferred
Qualifications:
15 or more years progressive experience in customer finance activities. Consumer products / manufacturing & distribution industry experience. Experience managing a global receivables portfolio. $200K -- $250K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
