VDC) subsystems and critical components across Brunswick:

AC and DC fast chargers As a member of this team, you will support our product development teams company wide and engage with university research, national labs, and new technology suppliers to lead the assessment and application of advanced electric drive technologies suitable for marine applications. The successful Power Electronics Architect - EMI Specialist:
Interfaces with research institutions to solve marine focused electrification challenges Works across the enterprise to develop desirable solutions that can be taken to market Understands applicable design and safety standards Sets the standard across the enterprise for design, test, and production validation and service Trains and mentors talented engineers at both the innovation center and across the enterprise Develops and defines complete electric vessel systems, subsystems, and components through system-level design concepts that meet the customers' needs Coordinate vessel-level system activities with the support of a cross-divisional team Works with all engineering disciplines needed to develop system requirements and architectures and establishes systems capabilities and operational concepts Spans all phases of the product development cycle, from concept development and system architecture to product launch and field support. Key responsibilities Specific activities include system architecture design, competitive analysis, intellectual property management, product specification development, requirement definition, performance analysis, simulation, systems modeling, simulation tool development and support for hardware design, manufacturing, integration, and test departments. Develop team capability to support future cost-effective electrification development Understand and execute tradeoff studies between available technology solutions Required Experience/Skills MS in engineering with PhD in electric drive related disciplines strongly preferred Strong knowledge of high voltage (350V+) power electronics and/or electric drive integration Fifteen or more years in engineering related to electric propulsion and/or energy storage systems Experience delivering multiple electric vehicle projects to an OEM Recent hands-on experience in the areas of systems integration, product verification and validation of large, complex systems into a multi-national organization Competency in coordinating cross divisional activities Preferred Experience/Skills:
Knowledge of electrical safety standards Experience performing competitive analysis either internally or through 3rd party engineering firms Aptitude for evaluating sourcing options for technically proficiency and partnership potential Ability to evaluate system architecture trade-offs
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
